Description

Creamy Velveeta Beef and Bowtie Pasta is a rich, indulgent dish that combines savory ground beef, creamy Velveeta cheese, and perfectly cooked bowtie pasta. It’s quick to prepare and perfect for a family meal or a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block of Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can of Rotel tomatoes with chilies, undrained
  • 2.25 pounds ground beef
  • 1 box of bowtie noodles (farfalle)
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water (optional, for thinning the sauce)

Instructions

  1. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add the bowtie noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set the noodles aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add cubed Velveeta cheese, softened cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, and the undrained Rotel tomatoes to the skillet. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the cooked bowtie noodles to the skillet and toss them in the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
  5. Serve the dish warm, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Reserve pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency to your liking.
  • For extra flavor, top with shredded Parmesan cheese or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to add sautéed onions or bell peppers to the sauce for extra depth of flavor.
