These Strawberry Santas are a festive and fun holiday treat that are both healthy and easy to make. Made with just four simple ingredients, they combine fresh strawberries with a creamy, lower-sugar cheesecake filling. These no-bake desserts are perfect for any holiday gathering and a hit with both kids and adults.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 large strawberries
- 1 cup whipped cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Red and black decorative icing for the face
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries by washing them and removing the stems to create a flat base. Slice them in half, leaving space at the top to form a Santa hat.
- In a small bowl, mix the whipped cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place the cream cheese mixture in a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- To assemble, pipe the cream cheese mixture on top of the bottom half of the strawberry.
- Add the top half of the strawberry to form the Santa hat and pipe a little more cream cheese for the pom-pom on the hat.
- Use the decorative icing to draw Santa’s eyes and nose on the body of the Santa.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
Notes
- For a healthier option, you can swap the cheesecake filling with Greek yogurt or a slice of banana.
- If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a ziplock bag with the tip cut off for piping the cream cheese filling.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days. They may soften after a day.
