Description

Christmas Deviled Eggs are a festive and easy-to-make appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings. These eggs are creamy, tangy, and garnished with festive red and green toppings, making them an ideal treat to impress your guests during the Christmas season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon red bell pepper, finely diced (for garnish)
  • Optional: Pickles or olives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in a pot of water for 10 minutes. Once done, cool under cold running water and peel the eggs.
  2. Slice each egg in half lengthwise, remove the yolks, and place them in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth, then add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, and paprika. Mix until creamy and well-combined.
  4. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  5. Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika, fresh parsley, and finely diced red bell pepper for a festive touch.
  6. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • You can make the filling ahead of time and refrigerate it separately, then fill the eggs just before serving.
  • For a spicier twist, add a dash of hot sauce or finely chopped jalapeños to the filling.
  • Adjust the seasoning to taste; more mustard or vinegar can be added for extra tanginess.
