- 3 ½ ounces (100g) double cream
- ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 cup (250ml) milk of choice
Instructions

- Pour the scalded cream over the chopped dark chocolate and sea salt. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Stir the mixture until smooth and the chocolate has melted completely.
- Add the peppermint extract and stir to combine. Let it cool, then refrigerate to set.
- To serve, scoop 2 tablespoons of ganache into a mug, add a splash of hot milk, and whisk until melted into a chocolate pool.
- Pour in additional hot milk and stir to combine. Sweeten with maple syrup if desired.
- Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, or chocolate shavings for extra indulgence.
Notes
- Use high-quality dark chocolate for the best flavor.
- If you prefer a sweeter drink, use milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate.
- Store ganache in the fridge for up to a week. Roll it into balls for easy serving.
- To make it vegan, use coconut cream and dairy-free dark chocolate.
